The Law Firm of Keegan, Laterza, Lofgren & Gleason, L.L.C. ("The Firm") provides its clients with high quality services of the larger Chicago law firms, but at more cost effective rates and with greater personal attention. The Firm serves many small businesses and entrepreneurs, and understands both the practical and legal aspects of business and litigation. As such, the Firm is dedicated to counseling its clients so they can most effectively "get back to business" and avoid litigation, if possible, but also representing them zealously when conflict arises.

During their over sixty-five years of collective practice, the Firm's members have handled complex, sophisticated litigation and a wide range of commercial transactions. As to litigation, the Firm members have handled multi-million dollar environmental insurance coverage matters, million dollar subrogation actions, commercial litigation, construction law, personal injury cases, medical malpractice cases, property damage cases, insurance coverage matters, ERISA claims, FLSA claims, Title VII actions, ADEA claims, ADA actions, various tort and defamation actions, product liability actions and a wide variety of employment, contract and warranty matters. As to commercial transactions, the Firm's members have extensive experience in the area of commercial real estate transactions including sale, leasing and lending work; they have organized various business organizations, handled the sale and purchase of business assets, negotiated equipment and real estate leasing and sales arrangements, and prepared employment policies and handbooks.

The Firm's members have practiced in twenty different states, in both state and federal court, before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Labor, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and a variety of other administrative bodies and boards. While the Firm's members are experienced litigators, they are also experienced in methods of alternative dispute resolution, including arbitration, mediation, and other alternatives to litigation.
